Dynamic Zone Programming
Dynamic Zone Programming (DZP) provides one or more Dynamic Zones to store frequently used
channels for conventional or trunking.
NOTE:
Your radio must be preprogrammed to use this feature. At least one zone in the radio
must be a non-dynamic zone.
7.1
Selecting Channels in the Dynamic Zone
Procedure:

From the menu, enter a dynamic zone by performing one of the following actions:

the required position.

Select the required zone followed by the
required channel.

Select the required zone followed by the required channel.
The display shows a positive notice and the channel is added to the Dynamic Zone.
7.2
Deleting Channels in the Dynamic Zone
Procedure:
To delete a channel, tap
<Required channel>
→
Delete channel
.
The message shows
Deleted from position #
. If the deleted channel is the home channel, the
Home screen shows
<Zone Name>”Blank”
