• To lower the item, first lift the item slightly and remove the jack stands.
• Engage notches in the end of the jack handle (54) onto the release valve (4).
Turn the valve slightly, approximately 1/4 turn to lower the load. When the load is
lowered, turn the release valve clockwise to stop the motion.
• Lowering the jack
a. Make sure the lock lever (41) is released to stop the air flow to the air motor (39).
b. If attached, remove the air supply hose (40) from the air inlet fitting.
c. Place the slotted end of the handle (54) onto the release valve.
d. Slowly and carefully lower the load by turning the release valve counter-clockwise
in very small increments. Only use the handle (54), never use your hand to turn
the release valve.
e. Lower the extension screw (13.1) as needed by turning clockwise.
f. Remove the jack.
CAUTION:
Avoid rapid descent of the load by turning the release valve slowly.
