For a rigid attachment the operational torque has
to be absorbed using torsion-free torque bracing.
The support is provided by radial, torsion-free
transfer of the torques.

The housing of the device must not be
twisted by screwing the housing or the
torque support to the machine.
A support only via the cable is not suffi-
cient.
The thread depth of the threaded holes
provided for the torque bracing must not
be exceeded.
1.
Connect the device and torque support
using the threaded holes in the housing.
WARNING!
Danger of injury due to moving parts!
Due to the arrangement of the torque sup-
port, there is a risk of crushing.
2.
Carry out a risk assessment to assess the
actual risk and if necessary, safeguard
danger areas with segregational safety
devices.

Connecting media
Filtering
In order to ensure fault-free operation, the trans-
ferred media must be filtered continuously: Foreign
bodies which are larger than 10
µ
m must be fil-
tered off.
The service life of the sealing elements is
influenced significantly by the filtering of
the operating medium.
The specified filter fineness is a reference
value. In individual cases the actual oper-
ating conditions have to be taken into con-
sideration. In general, coarser filtering of
the operating medium leads to a shorter
service life for the seal.
Connection
1.
Flush the hydraulic system prior to con-
necting. Debris from production residues in
the hoses can therefore not enter the unit.
2.
Ensure the utmost cleanliness.
Connect the hydraulic connection to the P
n
pressure connections of the device prop-
erly.
In order to prevent different media from
mixing in the case of multiple rotary feed-
throughs, include depressurised empty
channels.
