this equipment contains, among
other information, the FCC
Registration Number and Ringer
Equivalence Number (REN), if
applicable, for this equipment.
If required, this information must
be given to the telephone
company.
An FCC-compliant telephone cord and
modular plug is provided with this
equipment.

This equipment is designed to be
connected to the telephone
network or premises wiring using
a compatible modular jack that is
Part 68-compliant.

If your telephone equipment causes
harm to the telephone network, the
telephone company may discontinue
your service temporarily.
If possible they will notify you in
advance. If advance notice isn't
practical, you will be notified as soon as
possible. You will then be advised of
your right to file a complaint with the
FCC.
Your telephone company may make
changes in its facilities, equipment,
operations, or procedures that could
affect the proper operation of your
equipment. If they do, you will be given
advance notice to give you an
opportunity to maintain an uninterrupted

telephone company may ask you to
disconnect this equipment from the
network until the problem has been
corrected or until you are sure the

This unit contains no user-serviceable
parts.
The FCC recommends that the AC
outlet for equipment requiring AC power
is provided with an AC surge arrestor.
The REN is used to determine the
quantity of devices that may connected
to the telephone line. Excessive RENs
on the telephone line may result in the
devices not ringing in response to an
incoming call. In most, but not all areas,
the sum of RENs should not exceed five
(5.0). To be certain of the number of
devices that may be connected to a line,
as determined by the total RENs,
contact your local telephone company.
