Grease Filters:
Operating the microwave/convection oven
without the grease filters in place can damage
the unit. Grease filters should be cleaned at least
once a month. To remove the filters, use the pull-
tab to slide the filter to the end of the opening
and tip down. Soak the filters in the sink or in a
dishpan filled with hot water and detergent.
DO NOT
use ammonia or other alkali-
based products that may darken the filter
material.
Agitate the filter. Use a scrub brush to
remove caked on grease.
Rinse the filter thoroughly and shake dry.
Place the filter back into the opening, tip
upward and slide filter to the end of the
opening. Lock in place. Be careful not to
kink or warp the filter upon installation.
Cleaning Tips:
Turn the oven
OFF
before cleaning.
Cover food while cooking to keep
spattering to a minimum.
Clean up all spills or spatters before they
dry. Wipe up food spatters or spilled
liquids with a damp cloth. Mild detergent
may be used for stubborn spills.
DO
NOT
use harsh detergent or abrasive
cleaner.
It is occasionally necessary to remove the
glass tray for cleaning. Wash the tray in
warm, sudsy water or in a dishwasher.
The roller guide and oven cavity floor
should be regularly cleaned to avoid
excessive noise. Wipe the bottom surface
of the oven with mild detergent water or
window cleaner and then dry. The roller
guide may be washed in mild sudsy
water.
Food odors may linger inside oven.
To help eliminate odors, combine the
juice and the peel from one lemon,
several whole cloves and 8 oz. of water
into a two cup bowl. Place in oven on
high power; bring to a boil for several
minutes. Let cool in the oven for several
minutes.
Clean the outside oven surface with soap
and water. Wipe away any residue using
a damp cloth. Dry with a soft cloth. To
prevent damage to the operating parts
inside the oven, do not allow water to
seep into the ventilation openings.
If the control panel becomes wet, clean
with a soft, dry cloth.
DO NOT
use harsh
detergents or abrasive when cleaning the
control panel.
