The Batteries
The Boma is supplied with and runs on 2 x 24V
20Ah battries. The images below show the
location of the battery plugs.
Charging the Batteries
Before riding the Boma, ensure batteries are
fully charged. After using the Boma, charge the
batteries overnight to ensure batteries are fully
recharged, using the 240V charger supplied.
For periods of storage we recommended you
remove the plugs from the batteries and store
the batteries inside. Storing the batteries below
room temperature can seriously affect
performance.
Range
On typical farm trails (hard broken surface,
slight gradients, grass and mud) we would
expect 12-14 miles from a Boma 7 on one set of
batteries.
