6.2 Replacement
6.2.1a Thermocouple (Up to Ser No.
401964)
1) Remove
control
knob.
2) Undo the two screws at the bottom of the control panel,
and remove.

6.1.2 Side
Panel
1) Undo the two screws near the bottom of the side panel to
be removed.
2) Lift the side panel and remove from the salamander.

Clamp
1) Remove the side panel (refer 6.1.2).
2) Unscrew the thermocouple from the rear of the gas control.
3) Undo the clamp on the pilot burner holding thermocouple
in place (secured by one screw). Withdraw thermocouple
from the pilot assembly.
4) Replace and re-assemble in reverse order.
IMPORTANT:
WHEN SCREWING THERMOCOUPLE BACK INTO THE GAS
CONTROL, ONCE THREADED UP, TIGHTEN UP ANOTHER
¼ TURN ONLY.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.
6.2.1b Thermocouple (From Ser No.
401965)
1) Remove the side panel (Refer Item 6.1.2).
2) Unscrew the thermocouple from the side panel of the
salamander and withdraw the thermocouple from the
burner area.
