Basic AWS 4000/2000
Trouble Shooting Guide
Malfunction
Possible cause
Steps to do
1. Is the Power cable connection
robust?
1. Verify the power connection to The
vehicle.
2. Verify the Mobileye AWS power
connections.
2. Is the GND good? Is it properly
and firmly connected?
1. Verify the GND connection.
2. Try to get a better GND.
3. Is the Constant power voltage
too low (12V)?
1. Check the power signal with a
Voltage Meter and make sure that
the power signal is 12V or higher.
4. Is the 2A Fuse burnt or loose?
1. Check the fuse on the AWS power
cable. If it is burnt replace it.
5. Is the ignition signal firmly
connected?
Is the voltage high enough
(12V)?
1. Verify the ignition signal connection to
the AWS signals cable (red wire).
2. Verify that the vehicle’s ignition signal
is 12V or higher.

6. Is the signal cable properly
connected?
Verify that the Yellow wire of the AWS
Signals Cable is connected properly to
the Yellow Wire of the Display unit cable.

Is the VSU off?
Is the CAN splitter cable firmly
connected?
Is the cable working properly?
1. Verify the Connection between the
CAN splitter cable labeled “SeeQ” to the
connector labeled “CAN A” of the
camera cable. Verify the connection
between the CAN Splitter Cable labeled
"MLD" to the Connector labeled CAN-A
of the Display unit cable.
2. Attach the “CAN A” connector coming
out from the Display unit cable to the
“CAN A” connector coming out from the
camera cable, check if the system is
operating. If it is working, replace the
CAN splitter cable.
