General information
Dear customer
This user manual contains a description of the product and important guidances to ensure a correct and safe usage of
the product. It is important prior to use to read this manual carefully. It is especially important to read the safety
requirements and follow these.
We continuously develop our products and we reserve the right without further notice to change the specifcations and
functions of products.
Purpose of the product
The Mobilex support belts with handles can be used in any situation where the carer needs a frm grip in order to
assist/support the client. Such situations may include helping a client to move from sitting to standing, and vice versa,
and manual handling standing and seated to/from bed, wheelchair, vehicle, commode, toilet, etc. Finally the Support
belt can be used to support the client during walking training. The Support belt has a broad contact surface and
ergonomical handles, which provide a secure grip from all angles. Easy to use from all sides. Easy to buckle and
tighten.

Safety requirements

Make sure that this user manual is read by all persons using the device. Manufacturer doesn’t take any
responsibility for damages and/or injuries, caused by the fact that the user manual has not been followed.

Only use the product in fawless condition.
●
Follow the information on the product label.
●
Only use the product for the described purpose.
●
Avoid making changes on the product, unless you have the manufacturers written acceptance for such
modifcations.
●
Always check that the label is readable and that the product is in good condition without signs of tear and
wear such as loose seams, frays and material inconsistency.
●
Do not leave the product unattended on the foor, a person may accidentally step on it with the risk of injury.
●
Warning:
Do not use the product if defects, errors or deterioration is detected. Contact your dealer
immediately.
Before and after every use
1. Always perform a risk assessment before starting the specifc session with the client in order to make sure the
product model is correct and that the procedure is fully understood.
2. Before using the product, read this user manual and the user manual for any additional equipment used.
3. When soiled or stained the product must be replaced or washed according to the product label.
4. After use check the product according to step 1 to 3 above and store in a dry area.
Product care, service and maintenance
The product shall regularly be checked by authorized personnel and always after washing.
Applying the support belt with handles
(please also see the drawings on the next page)
1. Fit the support belt around the client's waist or hips. Click the buckle closed and adjust the belt so it fts the
client.
2. The carer should make sure that the support belt is secure but that it does not irritate the client. The support
belt should be retightened during usage.
3. The carer now has a frm grip on the client and can assist/support the client's movements (see Illustration at
the end of the manual).
Expected service, storing and shelf life
The product should be stored in a dry and clean environment and the shelf lifetime is 3 years in original packaging.
Store in temperatures between 0°-40° C. Expected service life is 2 years; however, this will be subject to the actual
conditions during use.
