l
The time for the vehicle inside alarm can be
adjusted. Please consult your MITSUBISHI
MOTORS Authorized Service Point.
On vehicles equipped with Mitsubishi Multi-
Communication System (MMCS), screen op-
erations can be used to make the adjustment.
Refer to the separate owner’s manual for de-
tails.
2. After the inside alarm sounds, the outside
alarm that has been set will be activated for
approximately 30 seconds.
The turn-signal lamps will blink, and the
horn will sound intermittently.
3. Even once the alarm has been stopped, it is
possible for the outside alarm to be reactiva-
ted by opening a door, the trunk lid or the bon-
net.
NOTE
l
During an alarm operation, the alarm is dis-
played on the information screen in the multi-
information display.

It is possible to halt the activation of an alarm us-
ing the following methods:
l
Pressing one of the switches on the remote
control switch. (After pressing the LOCK
switch, the vehicle will lock if all the doors
are closed, after which the system prepara-
tion mode will once again go into effect.)
l
Turning the ignition switch to the “ON” or
“ACC” position.
l
Holding the keyless operation key and per-
forming any of the following operations
(with a vehicle that has keyless operation):
• Locking the doors by pressing the door
LOCK switch
• Unlocking the doors using the front door
handle
• Pressing the trunk OPEN switch
NOTE
l
Even if a door or the trunk lid is closed while
the inside alarm is sounding, this will not can-
cel the alarm activation.
l
If the buzzer sounds four times and the secur-
ity indicator blinks four times when the igni-
tion switch is turned to the “ON” position,
the alarm was activated while the vehicle
was parked. Check whether anything has
been stolen from the vehicle.
l
Even if the battery is disconnected, the alarm
activation memory will not be erased.
Even though the alarm will not be activated
if the battery is temporarily disconnected,
once the battery has been reconnected, the
alarm will sound immediately in order to
warn people around the vehicle of an abnor-
mal condition.
