Accessory socket*

The accessory socket can be used while the igni-
tion switch is in the “ON” or “ACC” position.
Pull out the plug to uncover the socket. Use it to
plug in an electrical device.
CAUTION
l
Be aware that using electronic equipment
with the engine off may run the battery
down.
l When you connect an electrical device,
make sure it is rated at 12 V and its elec-
trical capacity does not exceed 120 W.
l
When the accessory socket is not in use,
be sure to close the plug, because the sock-
et might become clogged by foreign mate-
rial and be short-circuited.
Interior lamps

NOTE
l If you leave the interior lamps on without run-
ning the engine, you will run down the bat-
tery. Before you leave the vehicle, make sure
that all the interior lamps are off.
Front room & map lamps

1 (DOOR) - The front room & map lamp goes
on when a door is opened. It goes
off about 15 seconds after all
doors are closed.
However, the lamp goes off imme-
diately in the following cases:
l The ignition switch is
turned to the “ON” position.
l All doors are locked using
the central door lock func-
tion.
l When the remote control
switch of the keyless entry
system is used to lock the ve-
hicle.
l If the vehicle is equipped
with the keyless operation
system, when the remote
control switch of the key-
less operation system or the
keyless operation function
is used to lock the vehicle.
NOTE
l When the key was used to start the engine, if
the key is removed while the doors are
closed ,the lamp is illuminated and after
about 15 seconds it goes off.
For vehicles with Twin Clutch SST, the lamp
will not illuminate if the key is removed be-
fore the engine stops.
l
When the keyless operation function was
used to start the engine, if the ignition switch
is turned to the “LOCK” position while the
doors are closed, the lamp illuminates and af-
ter about 15 seconds it goes off.
