Image
Auto
Automatically sets an optimal color balance based on the input signal. Use
this setting for most cases.
Theater
Makes projected images soft and smooth. Best suited for movies.
Presentation
Makes projected images bright and crisp.
Standard
Makes projected images look natural.
Black Board
Reproduces natural color tones when images are projected directly onto a
black board.
White Board
Reproduces natural color tones when images are projected directly onto a
white board.
User
Use to set Gamma or BrilliantColor™. (See page 32.)
Brightness
±30
Adjusts the brightness of projected images. (See page 31.)
Contrast
±30
Adjusts the contrast of projected images. (See page 31.)
Color Temp.
4 options
Adjusts the color temperature. (See page 31.)

You can change to any desired color by adjusting each of Gain, Saturation

Aspect Ratio
Normal
Automatically sets the aspect ratio in relative to the input signal. Use this
setting for most cases.
16:9
Select to expand squeezed (or horizontally compressed) images such as DVD
images to 16:9.
Native
Select to project images in their original size as input.
Full
Select this setting when you want to project images in the full screen.

Select when grayish black occurs.

3D
Auto
Automatically distinguishes the type of the input signal and displays 3D
images when 3D image signals are inputted or 2D images (normal images)
when 2D image signals are inputted (only when the signal from the HDMI
terminal is inputted).
Side by Side
Select this setting when 3D images are inputted in the side by side format.
Top and Bottom
Select this setting when 3D images are inputted in the top and bottom
format.
Frame Sequential
Select this setting when 3D images are inputted in the frame sequential
format.
Off
Select this setting when 2D images (normal images) are inputted.
3D Sync Invert
Off / On
Switches the order of the image for left eye and for right eye.
• When Image is switched, projected images may be distorted.
• Auto can be selected for 3D option only when the input signal is from the HDMI terminal.
