2.8 Maintenance parts
A long-term use of industrial robots causes a malfunction due to wear or deterioration of their components,
as well as general machines. To prevent such a malfunction and perform smooth operation of the robot for a
long term, the regular maintenance, inspection, and replacement of consumable parts are required. Refer to
"Maintenance and Inspection" in the separate manual "INSTRUCTION MANUAL/ROBOT ARM SETUP &
MAINTENANCE" for details of the maintenance and inspection. The consumable parts used in the robot
arm are shown in
Table 2-9 . Purchase these parts from the designated maker or dealer when required.
Some Mitsubishi-designated parts differ from the maker's standard parts. Thus, confirm the part name, robot
arm and controller serial No. and purchase the parts from the dealer.
