Call Features
Call Features
The following sections describe call-related features. In this section, you’ll learn how to set
preferences for your endpoint, program buttons, use directories, and perform various functions.
Setting Endpoint Preferences
Your endpoint is automatically set to specific defaults; however, you can configure many of
these settings at any time.
Changing Volume Levels
You can select a low, medium, high, or maximum volume level.
To change a volume level:
During a call press
on the side of the handset until you hear the desired volume
level.
Selecting a Ring Tone:
The ability to change your ring tone is helpful in close-quartered environments. If your ring tone
is unique, you can quickly identify when a call is ringing on your endpoint.
To select the type of ring tone for your endpoint:
On standby mode, press
on the side of the handset until you hear the desired ring
type. There are three ring tones and vibrate ringer available.
Turning the Handset Ringer On and Off
You can temporarily turn the handset ringer off.
To turn the ringer off:
In standby mode, press the hold
on the side of the handset for two seconds. The Ring
Off icon appears in the display.
Returning to Default Operation
You can return your endpoint to default levels at any time. This feature returns volumes to
default levels; cancels Do-Not-Disturb, manual call forwarding, background music, and queue
requests; and restores handsfree mode, pages, hunt group calls, and system forwarding all at
once.
To return your endpoint to default:
Dial
