5. Operation
Salvo Mode
Salvo Mode
The NV9642 enters a minor “salvo mode”

when you press a salvo button. Salvo mode is a tempo-
rary mode, usually brief, where you are given an opportunity to reconsider the salvo you are about
to execute. If you press an ‘Information’ button while the panel is in salvo mode, the panel displays
the salvo commands. If you wish to cancel the salvo before it executes, press the salvo button
again.
When you press take or when you cancel the salvo, the panel returns to its previous mode.

Menu Mode
The NV9642 enters menu mode when it has a menu button and you press it.
The menu has 4 menu choices and an exit button:
Press ‘Exit’ when you want to leave the menu and return to the previous button page.
Software Versions
Press the ‘Software Versions’ button to view the software and firmware versions:
The 3 buttons on the left tell you the current versions of the software in the NV9642. Generally, this
is of no relevance unless you are in a diagnostic situation.
Press ‘Exit’ on the right to return to the menu.
User
Press the ‘User’ button to view user data:
The 2 buttons on the left tell you the user name and user ID as determined by the router control sys-
tem. These are
not
the Windows user name or ID.
