The Automatic/Duplexing Document Feeder AF-3/AFR-7 automatically
feeds sheet originals placed on the Document Feed Tray one by one. After
the copy cycle has been completed, they automatically eject the original
onto the Document Exit Tray.
Some originals may not be suitable for reliable operation of the
AF-3/AFR-7. Here is a guideline.

This mode allows you to use originals weighing in the range between
40g/m

and 110g/m

when the copier is in the standard or Mixed Original
Detection mode.
Be sure to use the "Original Thickness" function of the User’s Choice to
allow the use of these originals when you need to make copies of originals
with AF-3/AFR-7 whose weights fall in the above range.
Not using the Lightweight Original Mode could damage such originals.
