Description of Each User’s Choice Function

Language Select

Selects the language of the Message Display.

The initial setting is German.

Mixed Orig. Detection

Selects whether to allow ("YES") the user to use originals of assorted sizes or
not ("NO") when he/she makes copies using the Duplexing/Automatic
Document Feeder AFR-7/AF-3.

The initial setting is "NO."

Original Thickness

Selects whether to allow ("Thin") the user to make copies from lightweight
originals in addition to the standard ones or not ("Standard") when he/she make
copies using the Duplexing/Automatic Document Feeder AFR-7/AF-3.

The initial setting is "Standard."

Copy Mode Priority

Specifies the priority mode selected automatically in the initial mode, either
Auto Paper, Auto Size, or Manual.
