in the main window.

• The Digital ICE function is turned on. When the preview

scan and final scan are performed, the image on which
the visible dust, flaw, fingerprint, mold, etc. have been
removed is displayed. However, this function has no
effect when scanning a monochrome film.

•  When scanning a B&W film, the Digital ICE function is

not available.

• When the Digital ICE function is turned on, the scanning

time will be longer.

• Kodak Kodachrome cannot be used.
• You can use the Digital ICE function for the following

types of B&W film only after the film has been
developed in color and scanned with the “Color
Negative” setting for the film type. We cannot assure this
procedure for other types of film.
