1.7 Safety Precautions
Follow the safety advice to ensure safe operation of the machine.
G Connect the machine only to a 200 - 240 V/ 50 Hz earthed power point.
G Make sure the power is not turned off over night.
G Always pull at the plug, never at the wire, when you want disconnect
the machine from the power supply. If possible, connect the machine
directly to a wall outlet.
G To facilitate communication always keep the machine switched on and
program the correct user data. Make sure to enter the correct user
names.
G Do not unscrew any parts, if not specifically requested in this manual.
If necessary contact your technical service.
G Never open the machine while it is transmitting or printing.
G Take care not to let humidity into the machine.
G Make sure no objects fall into the machine.
G If any problem occurs that can not be solved by the procedures
described in this manual make sure you contact the technical service.
G Follow the recommended maintenance procedures regularly.
G Do not open any parts of the machine or switch it off when the
photocopier is in use.
G Do not allow any magnetic objects near the photocopier.
G Switch the photocopier off immediately and remove the socket if the
machine becomes unusually hot or if smoke or an unusual smell
occurs.
Used cartridges may be taken back by the technical service station as a
part of the maintenance procedures.
