TCPIP/Default Router menu, enter the Internet address of the default
router.
The factory default router address is 000.000.000.000. This setting
provides automatic sensing of gateways. If you identify a subnet
mask, automatic sensing is disabled.

If you want to refer to the printer by host name instead of IP address,
edit the system host table by adding the following line to the host file:
internetaddress hostname
where internetaddress is the Internet address of the printer
(Administration/Communication/Resident NIC/CrownNet/TCPIP/
Internet Address menu, and hostname if the descriptive name of the
printer). This requires administrator privileges on your network. Con-
tact your system administrator.

Insert the autoloading Software Utilities CD-ROM into your CD-ROM
drive.

Click on the printer driver for your specific driver and port monitor.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Selecting the Crown Port
The Crown Print Monitor for Windows 2000/NT4/Me/98/95 transports print
jobs to a print device using the TCP/IP protocol and provides status informa-
tion to the host. If you installed the Crown Print Monitor, follow the instructions
in this section to assign the new Crown port that was created.
