
4.4.2 Editing Contacts
Phone contacts are managed on the server and cannot be edited by users. The
miphone_site_phonebook.conf file contains phone contact details that will be downloaded to the
MinePhones. It can be opened and edited using a text editor such as Notepad. An example and description
is shown below.

A change number value that must be the same as in the change.txt file. It is highly
recommended that change numbers are entered as a time stamp to reference when
the file is edited.

Note:
Note that outbound calls may require adding a prefix number, for example '0', in the phone number
field. Alternatively, it may be possible to configure the SIP server to dial the prefix when dialling
numbers outside the network.
