3.1 Access Point (AP) Configuration
The AP Config settings define the wireless network connection. The MinePhone must be restarted for
changes to take effect.

• Open System — any device can authenticate to the network
• WEP Open — Any device with the correct WEP key can
authenticate to the network
• WEP Shared — not recommended
• WPA-TKIP — WPA security using TKIP encryption
• WPA-AES — WPA security using AES encryption.
• WPA2-AES — the strongest form of WPA security.
WEP security type WEP Key
• 64 bit Encryption — 10 hexadecimal (base 16) characters (0-9
and A-F)
• 128 bit Encryption — 26 hexadecimal (base 16) characters
(0-9 and A-F)
• Encryption Key Index — The WEP key index to use
