Verify the shape of the diaphragm as follows:
Manually raise the platen and secure with safety brackets (FIGURE 1).
Lock off and tag out power to the machine.
Place a ruler across the bottom of the diaphragm as shown in FIGURE 12. Measure the distance
between the middle of the ruler and the bottom of the diaphragm. This distance must be about 70mm.
If the distance is not correct, repeat steps 9 through 12 until the proper measurement is achieved.
