2.2.3 Component
Test
Electrical components are activated. The correct function must be checked
visually and acoustically.
2.2.4 Sensor
Test
Sensors are activated.
The appropriate sensor function is indicated by the buzzer.
To ensure that all sensor states can be checked, the appropriate sensor state
must be modified manually.
Example: Open the door and check the door lock switch, then close the door
and check the door lock switch again.
2.2.5 Operating-Hours
Counter
The time is counted from program start to the end of cooldown, without the
time for delay start and anti-crease action. The time is saved in the
control/power electronic (EPWL).
2.3
Overriding the Time Control
All residual-moisture drying programs have an overriding maximum time
control of approximately 180 minutes. After this time has elapsed, any drying
program is canceled and the cooldown phase is carried out. The anti-crease
phase is skipped. The fault is not indicated, but is stored in the fault memory
and can be called up in the service mode.
2.4 No-Load
Recognition
In residual-moisture programs only.
The drying cycle is stopped.
Indication is as at program end (“End/Anti-Crease” LED).
Buzzer sounds at intervals, even if the “Buzzer off” programming function is
set.
Detects if the drum is empty, or the laundry in the drum is dry.
The residual-moisture sensor (B3/1) registers the electrical resistance of the
laundry load; refer to Section 030-2.1.
If the resistance is very high, then the laundry is dry or the drum is empty.
2.5 Residual-Moisture
Sensing
The electronic calculates the conductivity of the laundry in microsiemens (
μ
S)
via the residual-moisture sensor (B3/1); refer to Section 030-2.1. This
establishes the residual moisture of the laundry.
