Cause and remedy
Clean airways
lights
up at the end of a
programme.
The dryer is not operating in the most effective or effi-
cient way. Possible causes may be blockages caused
by fluff or detergent residues.
Generally, cleaning the fluff filter will be enough to
solve the problem.
Also check the plinth filter and clean it if neces-
sary.
When you remove the plinth filter, also check the
filter insert behind it. Clean if necessary.
Follow the cleaning instructions in the “Cleaning and
care” chapter.
To clear the message: Touch the
OK
sensor.
Clean fluff filter.
Check the airways.
lights up after a
programme has
been cancelled.
You have dried a small volume of textiles of different
sizes. A smaller piece of fabric has been drawn into
the loading area around the door and is blocking the
holes in the laundry deflector.
To clear the message: Touch the
OK
sensor.
Open the dryer door.
Remove the item causing the problem.
Only dry individual and small items with larger
items.
If this is not the problem, a more serious fault has oc-
curred. See below.
The dryer is blocked with fluff or detergent residues.
Clean all fluff filters and the air channels.
Check whether the fluff filters in the filling opening
and in the plinth are undamaged and in good con-
dition.
When you remove the plinth filter, also check the
filter insert behind it. Clean if necessary.
When you remove the plinth filter, also check the
heat exchanger behind it. Clean if necessary.
Follow the cleaning instructions in the “Cleaning and
care” chapter. Damaged, deformed or otherwise un-
cleanable fluff filters must be replaced.
