Rinsing the ice cube maker
The ice cube maker and water sup‐
ply pipework must be rinsed:
– before using for the first time,
– if the ice cube maker has not been
used for a long time,
– regularly when in continuous use
(at least once a month), to remove
ice residues from the system (to
avoid a blockage of the water sup‐
ply) and
– before switching the ice cube mak‐
er off for a long time.
After selecting the "Rinse the ice cube
maker" setting the ice cube maker
and the water supply pipework will be
rinsed automatically.
The ice cube tray then rotates into the
cleaning position to allow you to dry it
by hand.
Water is collected in the ice cube draw‐
er
.
Make sure the ice cube drawer is
empty before selecting the "Rinse the
ice cube maker" setting. Otherwise
the water will empty onto the contents
of the drawer.
The Rinsing setting can only be se‐
lected when the ice cube maker is
switched on.
Touch the settings sensor.
All symbols available for selection will
appear in the display and the
symbol
flashes.
Touch the sensors for setting the
temperature (
or
), repeatedly until
the ice cube maker symbol
flash‐
es.
Touch the OK sensor to confirm your
selection.
By touching the X or Y sensor, you
can now select the setting you want:
0
: the ice cube maker is switched off
1
: the ice cube maker is switched on
2
: set the water volume
3
: select the ice cube tray cleaning
position
4
:
rinse the ice cube maker
Touch the OK sensor to confirm your
selection.
The selected setting is applied. The
symbol in the display for the ice cube
maker
and the indicator light on the
ice cube maker will flash while the ice
cube maker is being rinsed.
You will hear the ice cube tray turn so
that it is at an angle.
Wait until the ice cube tray has com‐
pleted this rotation before continuing.
The ice cube maker will then switch off.
