Dismantling the oven door
The oven door consists of three glass
panels: an inner
a
, middle
b
and
outer
c
panel as shown in the illustra-
tion.
If necessary, the door can be disman-
tled so that the glass panels can be
cleaned individually.
To dismantle the door:
^
It is easier to clean the door if you re-
move it first (see "To remove the oven
door"). Cover a suitable table with a
soft cloth and the lay the oven door
on the cloth with the inner glass
panel
a
facing upwards and the
oven handle facing towards you.
Maintain a gap of approx. 30 cm be-
tween yourself and the edge of the
door.
If you decide not to dismantle the
door, take extra care when disman-
tling the panels that the door does
not drop open or close by mistake as
this could result in damage to the
glass panels.
^
Using both hands, grip the inner
glass panel
a
at the rear and lift it
upwards.
^
Open the inner panel
a
towards you.
Then pull it out as far as possible in
its retainer (see detail).
