All work must be carried out by a suit-
ably competent person and in com-
pliance with local and national regula-
tions.
Connection should be made via a
suitable isolator which complies with
national and local regulations, and
the on/off switch should be easily ac-
cessible. For extra safety it is advis-
able to install a residual current de-
vice (RCD) with a trip current of 30
mA.
For technical data see the data plate
or accompanying circuit diagram.
The machine must only be operated
with the voltage, frequency and fusing
shown on the data plate.

Conversion
(in countries where this is
an option) can be carried out following
the conversion diagram and wiring di-
agram supplied.
A conversion diagram is located at the
back of the machine and on the rear of
the service panel.
The wiring diagram is to be found be-
hind the plinth on the left hand side, at-
tached to the floor of the machine.
The data plate with test certification is
on the rear of the machine and on the
plinth behind the service panel.
To remove service panel and plinth:
Isolate the machine from the power
supply.
Remove fixing screws "
a
" from the
service panel.
Take hold of the service panel at the
bottom corners and pull forward.
Remove plinth screws "
b
".
Disconnect earth lead if necessary.
Remove plastic protective cap.
To re-assemble:
Refit plastic protective cap, plinth
facing and service panel in the
reverse order to which they were
removed.
Make sure the earth lead is recon-
nected.
