This mobile unit can be used to reprocess machine-reprocessable
medical devices in a Miele washer-disinfector. Follow the operating
instructions for your washer-disinfector as well as the instructions is-
sued by the medical device manufacturer on how to reprocess their
items using a machine.
The A 207 mobile injector unit is intended for reprocessing ophthal-
mic instruments only and may only be used in the
OphthaTrays A207
programme.
This mobile injector unit has 3 levels and 2 spray arms.
The top level is fitted with an injector manifold with silicone hoses and
Luer Lock connectors. It can be used for connecting mesh trays,
baskets, cassettes, bowls, etc with integrated injector manifolds for
ophthalmic sets.
The two lower levels are designed to take inserts and mesh trays for
reprocessing instruments without lumen.
Narrow lumened instruments (Sauter cannulae or rinsing and suction
hand pieces, for example) require the suds solution to be filtered. The
injector manifolds must be fitted with a Miele A 800 tubular filter for
this purpose. The tubular filter is supplied with its own operating in-
structions.
Special reprocessing programmes are required for reprocessing in-
struments from the above areas of application by machine. These
programmes are installed ex-works or can be installed, created or ac-
tivated by the Miele Customer Service Department on the following
machines:
- PG 8582
- PG 8582 CD
- PG 8592
Disposable items must not be reprocessed.
The washer-disinfector is generally referred to as “the machine” in
these operating instructions. Reprocessable medical devices are re-
ferred to as “load items” if they are not more closely defined.
Mesh trays, baskets, cassettes, bowls etc and other preparation con-
tainers are referred to throughout these instructions as mesh trays.
