Chapter 3: Battery Test
The Battery Test analyzes a battery not connected to
a vehicle. The tester guides you through the steps of
selecting your battery test parameters and interpret-
ing the results. Before you start the test, review the
instructions in “Test Preparation” section in the previ-
ous chapter.
IMPORTANT: When you start a new test, the last test
results in memory are overwritten. Remember to re-
cord or print the results if you need to retain them.
If you use the ARROW keys to select option buttons, press
NEXT to continue to the next step.
1. In the Main Menu select the Battery Test icon.
2. Use

to select the location of the battery and press
NEXT to continue. This option is skipped when perform-
ing a System Test.
