Site Setup

  Use the SITE SETUP function to create new Site, Plant, 

and String hierarchies.  You can also use SITE SETUP 

to manage existing hierarchies and test parameters.

Icon

Function

Select the NEW icon to create a hierarchy of new 

Sites, Plants, and Strings as well as Test setup 

functions.
Select the EXISTING icon to access to existing 

Site, Plant, String, and Jar setups.

CQSync

  The CQSync function allows you to upload, download 

and delete data from the tester's internal flash mem-

ory as well as update the unit's internal software.

Upload data to an external USB flash drive.

Download data from an external USB flash drive 

to the tester's internal memory

Deletes selected sites

Deletes all sites stored in the tester

Updates the tester software via an external USB 

flash drive.

DMM

  With  the  DMM  function  the  tester  can  serve  as  a 

digital multimeter.  With it you can measure DC or AC 

voltage, and DC current.

Icon

Function

Measures voltage within a range of 0 to 18 Vdc.

Estimates voltage within a range of 0 to 20 V 

peak-to-peak AC.

 Voltage trace with time and frequency 

measurements.

Calculates the direct current flow through a 

circuit. 

Utilities

  Use the UTILITIES function to access and modify the 

internal test parameters and other user interface de-

faults.

Adjust tester date and time.

Select tester language options: English, French, 

Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, 

Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, and Arabic.
Select between Auto Start and Manual Start

Adjust tester screen contrast level and backlight 

time.

Select how Strap Readings are powered: battery 

or tester.

View tester internal battery power status.

Adjust speaker volume levels

Select temperature units: Celsius or Fahrenheit

Set the voltage used for Quick Test.

Tests generator or vehicle starting battery.

Times and manages capacity test process.

To adjust between multi frequency and traditional 

mode (ULTRA MODE).
