RADIO PROGRAMMING

 

 
For  all  the  radios  listed  below  the  term  Mode  will  refer  to  scramble/clear,  inversion  code  select  or  Lone-Worker 
on/off functions, depending on how the GPS-2 board is programed. 
 

F-3021, F-3023, F-4021, F-4023: 

 
For  mode  select,  program  the  desired  button  under  Common  >  Key  &  Display  as  OPT1  Momentary/L  (Active 
Low). 
 
If using Emergency ANI, under Common > Key & Display set the Emer button as OPT 3 Out/L. The GPS-2 IC-2 
will  key  the  radio  and  transmit  the  programmed  ENI  for  the  programmed  number  of  times,  GPS  location  is  only 
available if using the Midian FMP w/GPS signaling option.  
 

F-5061, F-6061 and F9511: 

 
For  mode  select,  program  the  desired  button  under  Common  >  Key  &  Display  as  OPT1  Momentary/L  (Active 
Low). 
 
If  using  Emergency  ANI  the  GPS-2  board  needs  Mod  1476  and  the  radio  needs  the  PTT  modification  (see 
technical  notes  on  next  page),  under  Common  >  Key  &  Display  set  the  Emer  button  as  OPT  3  Momentary/L
