Cautions for Handling Consumable Parts When handling the
consumable parts (ink and printhead), pay attention to the following:
Do not store consumable parts in a place where
a.
They are exposed to direct sunlight
b.
They are exposed to heat source or flame
c.
They are exposed to excessive humidity
d.
They are exposed to excessive dust
Use the consumables exclusively prepared for this printer.
NEVER use any other ink. Keep away from babies or little children.
When your hands are stained with ink, first flush with cold water then
clean with soap and rinse water.
Do not remove the printhead from the package until you are ready to use
it. Do not expose printheads to air directly for more than 1 minute;
please keep it installed in the printer or in the head cap. In addition, do
not keep the inner clamshell opened for more than 1 minute. (When the
inner clamshell is opened, the printhead is exposed to air.)
Do not touch any fluidic coupling and or the nozzle plate, the printing
side of the printheads, with any object which may damage its
sophisticated structure.
Do not remove consumables unless replacing them. Printheads and ink
cartridges should remain in the printer once installed. Their removal and
reinsertion is not recommended unless replacement is necessary.
