6.2. Reset Ink Routine (Ink Level Error Messages)
The “RESET INK” function makes the printer re-detect the ink cartridges.
This function is useful, if
(a) incorrect ink level messages are displayed on the home page. (Example:
LOW or NG of ink column is displayed, but the actual remaining ink is not
little.)
(b) After replacing or reinstalling ink cartridges.
(c) After moving the printer.
Please start the RESET INK function by following steps:
1.
On the operation panel, push [SETTINGS AND MAINTENANCE].
2.
Select [MAINTENANCE].
