DDW and DDW525 (Wide SCSI) Single Channel Installation

Follow the directions below to properly install your DataDock unit.

!

(Macintosh) Any SCSI Mounting Extensions (INITS) in the extensions folder of your Macintosh
must be removed before the DataDock is installed to ensure proper operation of your DataDock.

1.

Power off the computer and its attached peripherals.

“Peripherals” are external devices connected to the computer such as modems, printers, scanners and
SCSI devices.

2.

Set the DataDock’s mode switch to position 2 if it will be connected to a Macintosh, otherwise set
it to position 1.

Wide DataDock rear panel.

3.

Connect one end of the MicroNet supplied SCSI cable to the SCSI card’s connector and the other
to the bottom SCSI connector on the rear of the DataDock.
