Transporting and storing the stapling device
15.1
Packing
Package the stapling device before storing or transporting it over the following routes:
Distances of greater than 10 m
Routes over precarious ground
Routes to be taken with unusual posture
To do so, perform the following steps:
Disconnect the stapling device from the compressed air supply.
Allow the pressure to escape fully from the stapling device.
Empty the magazine.
Clean the compressed air connectors of foreign objects and impurities if needed.
Place the stapling device in the transport case.
Close the transport case and lock the cover.
15.2
Transporting
The type of transport is different depending on whether the stapling device is transported over
short or long distances.
15.2.1
Transporting over short distances
Short distances are distances of no greater than 10 meters in length.
WARNING
Accidentally triggering can cause severe or fatal injury.
Disconnect the stapling device from the compressed air supply before
transporting it
Always use the handle to carry the stapling device
Do not touch the trigger during transport
Disconnect the stapling device from the compressed air.
ATTENTION
Bumps or impacts can cause damage to the stapling device.
Do not drop the stapling device.
Protect the stapling device from bumping into obstacles.
Carry the stapling device by the handle with the tip of the tool pointing toward the floor.
Connect the compressed air supply again at the new point of use.
