- If the leakage test is satisfactory and no gas is escaping, open the cylinder valve by turning the knob to the
left (counterclockwise) unless it has already been opened after the leakage check.
- Press the heater valve control button and turn it to ignition position (
Pilot - approx. 90° to the left). Hold
the control knob pressed for approx. 30 seconds (before the fitting with the hose is filled with the gas from
the cylinder that is pushed out of the gas distribution by air); at the same time, press also the switch button
of the piezo igniter (Igniter - red) and hold them both pressed until the ignition burner flame is ignited.
After the ignition burner flame is ignited, release the piezo igniter switch button. The pressed heater valve
control knob may be released after approx. 15 sec after the flame is ignited (after the thermal fuse is heated-
up).
- After the ignition flame is ignited and the heater valve control knob is released, turn this knob slowly more
counterclockwise to the maximum position (Hi - approx. 45° to the left), which ignites the heater main
burner to the maximum output. Wait in this position for approx. 5 min and then set the required heater
output by turning the heater valve control knob to the selected position between the maximum (Hi) and the
minimum (Lo).
Note: If the burner is not ignited, press and turn the heater valve control knob to closed position (
Off)
and release; wait for approx. 5 min and repeat the procedure.
Extinguishing the heater
- Turn the heater valve control knob to ignition position (
Pilot), press the knob in this position, turn it to
closed position (
Off), and release.
- Close the fuel inlet from the LPG cylinder by turning the cylinder valve knob to the right up to stop.
When turned off for a long time:
- Turn the heater valve control knob to ignition position (
Pilot).
- Close the fuel inlet from the LPG cylinder by turning the cylinder valve knob to the right up to stop and let
the remaining gas from the connecting hose combust.
- Press the heater valve control button, turn it to closed position (
Off) and release.
-
When turning off for a long time, always disconnect the heater from the gas cylinder (see Disconnecting
the heater and changing the LPG cylinder).
Disconnecting the heater and changing the LPG cylinder
- Extinguish the heater (see Extinguishing the heater - Procedure for turning off for a long time).
- Before disconnecting the gas cylinder, check whether the heater is extinguished and cooled completely and
whether the cylinder valve is closed.
- Disconnect the LPG cylinder from the stove and check the cylinder valve for leakage and damage. If
a defect is found, the LPG cylinder shall be supplied to the gas supplier for replacement. Mount a protective
plug on the disconnected cylinder.
- If the heater is not to be connected to another LPG cylinder, place it so as to avoid its fouling or mechanical
damage.
- Prior to connecting a new gas cylinder to the appliance check the condition of sealing.
- Change the gas cylinder in a sufficiently ventilated room, preferably in an outdoor environment, outside all
sources of ignition (a candle, cigarettes, other appliances producing a flame, etc.) and out of reach of other
persons.
- After the new cylinder is connected, make a leakage check (see Leakage check).
Leakage check
- In the place of installation a complete leakage test of the appliance must be carried out due to possible
damage during transport or excessive pressure.
- Carry out a leakage test after every relocation of the appliance or change of the LPG cylinder or if the
appliance has been put out of operation for a long time.
- Prepare a foam forming solution using one part of liquid detergent and one part of water. Apply the foam
forming solution using an atomizer vessel, brush, or cloth.
- Carry out a check when the pressure cylinder is full sufficiently.
- Check whether the heater valve control knob is in closed position/OFF (
Off) and is not pressed.
- Open the cylinder valve on the LPG cylinder by turning the knob to the left, apply a foam forming solution
(e.g. soapy water) and check the hose and the areas around the connections for escaping gas. Escaping gas
will be accompanied by the formation of bubbles in the area of leakage. The heater valve control knob
