Commissioning
- Before commissioning the appliance, it is necessary to follow the instructions given below.
Connecting to the LPG cylinder
- Read the instructions before installation.
- Open the front panel of the heater (H), by pulling with one
hand using the handle in its upper part. Hold the heater with
the other hand to prevent it from overturning. The front panel
is fastened to the heater using magnets. Remove the front
panel hinges from the protrusions in the lower plate (N) and
put the front panel away.
- Before unscrewing the plug from the cylinder valve (LH
thread), make sure that the main shut-off valve of the LPG
cylinder is properly tightened in closed position.
- Check the connecting thread of the cylinder valve for fouling
and damage. Remove impurities, if any. If the thread is
damaged, the appliance must not be connected to the LPG
cylinder. Replace the damaged cylinder with a flawless one.
- Before connecting the regulator to the LPG cylinder, check the
use and good condition of the sealing in the regulator cap nut.
Replace the sealing with a perfect one if necessary.
- Screw the regulator on the side union nut of the LPG cylinder
shut-off valve by turning the regulator counterclockwise and
tighten properly using the wrench.
- Mount hose clamps on both ends of the connecting hose. Slide
one end of the connecting hose onto the pressure regulator
mandrel and fix it using a hose clamp. Slide the other end of
the connecting hose onto the heater fitting inlet mandrel (on the
right side of the control panel) and tighten using the hose clamp.
(Note: One end of the connecting hose may be placed on the
heater fitting inlet mandrel and secured using the hose clamp
from production.)
- The heater valve control knob must be in closed position
(
Off).
- Place the connected LPG cylinder in the designated area in the
heater (onto the lower plate) and secure its position using the
tape (L).
- Prevent the hose from twisting and its contact with the hot
parts of the heater or with sharp edges.
- Place the front panel (H) hinges into the protrusions in the
lower plate (N), hook the chain and close the front panel so
that it is fastened using the magnets.
- After connecting the heater to the LPG cylinder, perform
a leakage test (see Leakage test).
Igniting the heater
- Please read the instructions before use.
- Before each use, it is recommended that all connections are
checked for tightening and the leakage (see Leakage test), use
and condition of the sealing are checked.
- Check the integrity of the glass tube (C) of the heater.
- Check the presence and condition of the battery in the piezo
igniter.
Unscrew the switch button of the piezo igniter on the control
panel (J) and insert an AAA (1.5 V) battery into the hole or
check the presence and state of charge of the battery. Make
sure that the positive pole (+) is directed outwards. Screw the
switch button back.
- Check whether the heater valve control knob is in closed position/OFF (
Off).
