7.2.
Warehousing
Warehousing means storing the power generator in an inoperable state without a time limit. To do
that, preservation work and inspections are required at regular intervals. Warehousing under weath-
er-protected conditions is described below. To warehouse under different conditions, consult our ser-
vice representatives.
•
Perform all necessary maintenance and cleaning work as described in the Maintenance chapter.
•
Place a desiccant bag inside the tank.
•
Do an oil change.
•
Remove the spark plug.
•
Fill 10cc engine oil through the opening into the cylinder.
•
Turn the engine with the recoil starter several times slowly through.
•
Screw the spark plug back in.
•
Seal the intake of the air filter and the exhaust outlet airtight.
•
Remove the battery.
•
Store the battery in accordance with the standards and check the charge status every 2 months.
•
Protect all surfaces with a preservative.
•
Protect power generators from dust and moisture.
•
Storage temperature between -20 ° C to + 70 ° C.
•
Protect against unauthorized access and children.
•
When retrieving, follow the instructions on preparation for commissioning and do the daily
checks before start-up..
•
These provisions are to be repeated at regular intervals, but at least after 2 years.
