Avoid contact with battery acid.

Use protective gloves, goggles and acid-resistant clothing.
•
Keep the battery clean.
Rinse injured area with clean water.
First aid according to code of practice, notify first responders.
NOTICE
Fuels age during storage. Deposits develop which can damage the engine fuel system. Follow the
instructions on storage/ warehousing! Comply with the engine manufacturer‘s operating instruc-
tions.
7.1.
Storage
Storage refers to keeping the power generator available ready-to-operate for up to 2 months.
For this end, the following measures are necessary:
•
Perform all necessary maintenance and cleaning work as indicated in the Maintenance chapter.
•
You can extend fuel storage life by adding a gasoline stabilizer that is formulated for that pur-
pose, or you can avoid fuel deterioration problems by draining the fuel tank and carburettor
(see engine manufacturer‘s instructions).
•
Check the battery and recharge if necessary.
•
Protect the generator from dust and moisture.
•
Comply with the max. storage temperature in accordance with type plate.
•
Comply with the regulations on the storage of fuels.
