SCHEME 2 - SMARTACT EVO TACK ASSEMBLY ON THE INSTRUMENT
Take the titanium tack in its
protective cap (N) from the blister
pack
Remove the cap that has detached
from the pin holder
SMARTACT evo system ready for
use
Insert the handpiece head (Photo 6)
into the cap (N) and push it until it
locks into place
Pin holder (containing the titanium
tack) correctly positioned
STAY AWAY FROM THE SURGICAL
SITE
Fully depress the pedal (A) and
release it to allow the pin holder to
detach from the curved body head (H)
WARNING: pin holder expulsion is
automatically activated when the
pedal is depressed. During this
operation, always point the tip of
SMARTACT evo towards a waste
collection container
You should hear a click as the pin
holder properly fits into place on the
handpiece head
Turn the lower ring nut to adjust to
the suitable insertion force
