5.3.5.2. Error message in the
Auto-Follow
operating mode
Error in flash signal
Error cause:
I
The Sync signal emitted by the camera system does NOT comply with the permitted switch-on
duration of the M=Light LED at the pre-selected intensity.
Consequence of the error:
I
Triggered switch-on processes are not performed, which may result in bright > dark frame
sequences in the shots.
Preventing errors:
Check if the Sync signal emitted by the camera system corresponds to the permitted switch-on
duration of the M=Light LED at the pre-selected intensity.
Adjust the intensity of the M=Light LED at the
Power
slide control in the
Flash Light
window.
Adjust the frame rate of the camera system.
Adjust the exposure duration of the camera system.
You have adjusted the input signal to the physical limits of the M=Light LED and are now able
to produce high-quality shots with good exposure.
Switching on the
Auto-Follow
operating mode:
Highlight the required M=Light LED.
Select the trigger input.
Slide the
Pulse period
slide control to 0.
Adjust the required intensity for the switch-on duration between 1 and 255% by means of the
Power
slide control.
You have switched on the
Auto-Follow
operating mode. The M=Light LEDs are controlled at the
selected intensity in accordance with the input signal supplied by the camera system. In the
section
Pulse period
the following message is shown, highlighted yellow:
