Operation Monitor – ISSUE #2:
LCD Screen (P/N: V-MA-00615-00)
ISSUE #2- Blank Screen:
There is no data displayed on the screen although the SQA-V
is ON, power indication LED is lit and the fan is working.
PLEASE NOTE: The instructions depend on the SERIAL NUMBER (SN#) of the SQA-V.
SN# 2228 and below – follow the instructions in SECTION 1
SN# 2229 and above – follow the instructions in SECTION 2
SECTION 1:
SN #2228 and
below
1.
Re-install SQA-V software.
2.
If the software installation failed - please refer to
“
SECTION 3:
Replacing the SQA-V processor”
below for further instructions
3.
If the software was installed successfully and the
problem persists - check the data flat cable:
Open the SQA-V and verify that the LCD flat
cable, is connected so that the red line
facing the location indicated with a "1 2" on
the LCD board
Also verify that the other end of LCD flat
cable is correctly connected to main board.
The connection should be so that the red
line of the flat data cable facing connector
J1 on main board
If data flat cable is not correctly connected –
reconnect it in correct orientation
If data flat cable appears damaged in any
way – it should be replaced (Item P/N:
KHD-908-000858)
4.
If replacing the cable will not resolve the issue -
replace the processor on the main board (see
Appendix section for instructions).
5.
If replacing the processor will not resolve the
issue – please follow the instructions below
6.
Re-start the SQA-V and check if the LCD
operation screen is still blank
7.
If yes, replace the Operation screen following
instructions from paragraph #11 (How to replace
Operation monitor) above
8.
In case the problem persists after replacing the
LCD screen- contact MES Customer Support.
SECTION 2:
SN #2229 and
above
1.
Re-install SQA-V software.
2.
If the software installation failed - please refer to
“
SECTION 3:
Replacing the SQA-V processor”
below for further instructions
3.
If the software was installed successfully and the
problem persists - check the connection of data
flat cable:
a.
Open the SQA-V and verify the
orientation of flat data cable connecting
Backlight PCB to Main board at Main
board side
b.
The connection should be so that the red
line of the flat data cable facing
connector J1 on Main board
