The vehicle exhaust system can become very
hot. If you use HANDS-FREE ACCESS, you
could burn yourself by touching the exhaust
system.

Always ensure that you only make a kick-
ing movement within the detection range
of the sensors.

Deactivate the function of the key in
these situations.

Make sure that the key is at a minimum
distance of 3 m (high-pressure cleaner)
or 6 m (automatic car wash) away from
the vehicle.
When making the kicking movement, make sure
that you are standing rmly on the ground. You
could otherwise lose your balance, e.g. on ice.
Observe the following notes:
R
The key is behind the vehicle.
R
Stand at least 30 cm away from the vehicle
while performing the kicking movement.
R
Do not come into contact with the bumper
while making the kicking movement.
R
Do not carry out the kicking movement too
slowly.
R
The kicking movement must be towards the
vehicle and back again.

If several consecutive kicking movements are not
successful, wait ten seconds.
