1.1 Consumer Manual Contents
This consumer manual applies exclusively to the Mercedes-Benz Energy Storage Home Gen.2.0
made by Mercedes-Benz Energy GmbH (hereinafter ‘Mercedes-Benz Energy’). Make sure you read it in
full before using the product for the first time. Adhere to the safety instructions it contains at all times.
The information included in this manual was up-to-date at the time of its publication. Since the Mercedes-Benz
Energy Storage Home is subject to constant further development, though, changes may be made to the
content without notice. The latest version of this consumer manual is available at:

1.2 Product Description
The Mercedes-Benz Energy Storage Home is a compact modular energy storage system. The product is
designed to optimize the self-consumption of energy and provide an alternative source of power. It can be
operated using an inverter approved by Mercedes-Benz Energy. Up to four energy storage modules can
be connected in parallel to form a single unit. Two such units connected in parallel through an external
distributor are the maximum possible level of expansion for the system. The system must be installed in
compliance with the specified ambient conditions[2.4 Ambient Conditions; S.28].
Use the product exclusively in accordance with the instructions given in this manual and the standards,
guidelines, and laws prevailing locally. Usage in violation of the specifications and indicated operating limits
is not permitted, and will cause the warranty to be revoked! Non-compliance with this manual is not permitted
except with the separate, written approval of Mercedes-Benz Energy.
