On the market launch of the new E-Class coupé, all
models are equipped as standard with the familiar
"7G-TRONIC" 7-speed automatic transmission.

The following modifications have been made for
service in the new E-Class coupé:

• The fully electronic transmission control (VGS) is

equipped with a new processor for quicker
processing of the signals
