Electrical System
Headlamp Adjustment
C orrect headlamp adjustm ent is
extrem ely im portant. Check and read­
ju st headlamps at regular intervals
and when a lamp has been replaced.
Replacing Bulbs
To remove, push the bulb in and turn
to the left, then lift the bulb out.
To install, grip the bulb w ith a paper
tissue or similar cloth, align the pins
on the base of the bulb with the
grooves in the bulb socket, push in
lightly and turn to the right until the
sto p is felt.
Install only 12 volt bulbs with the
specified w att rating.
Front Lamps
1 Cover. Remove cover (1) after
backing out knurled plastic nuts
located behind headlamps.
2 Sealed-beam unit fo r high and
low beam (Sealed-beam/Halo-
gen)
3 Fog lamp (H 3)
4 Turn signal, parking, side marker
and standing lamp

5 Securing nuts fo r cover
6 Securing nuts fo r turn signal,
parking, side m arker and stand­

7 Vertical adjusting screw,
sealed-beam unit
8 Horizontal adjusting screw,
