Rear Seat Bench
For the enlargement of the cargo
space the left, right, o r both sections
of the rear seat bench can be folded
down as desired.
To fold down left or right rear seat
bench section, proceed as follow s:
Slip seat belt into belt retainer on the
wheelhouse and return latch plate to
the belt outlet opening.
Detach head restraints.

Push button (1), slip your fingers into
recess (2) and position seat cushion
vertically (push fro n t seat forw ard a
little, if necessary).
Slide head restraint into openings
provided (in the seat cushions).
Push button (1) once more and fold
backrest forward.
When folding back the backrest and
the seat cushion, ensure that they
engage in their locks.
Further enlargem ent of the cargo
space:
Remove folded up seat cushion. To
do this, push b uttons (3) on LH and
RH sides and pull seat cushions out
o f the hinges.
With the backrest folded down the
hinge pins m ust rest in the brackets
at the backrest.
