Baking
1.
Place the appliance on a flat and firm surface.

Put the baking pan in place and turn it clockwise so that it clicks. Fit the dough paddle on the
axle. Tip: Fill the hollows on the dough paddle with butter/margarine to make it easier to
remove after baking.
3.
Weight and measure up the ingredients.
4.
Put the ingredients in the baking pan.
– Usually the liquid is added first, then sugar, salt and flour.
– Yeast or baking powder is always added last. Put the yeast in a small hollow in the flour.
Make sure that the yeast does not come into contact with liquid or salt.
5.
Carefully close the lid.
6.
Plug the plug into an earthed power point.
7.
Select the required program with the menu button.
8.
Select the required crust colour with the button for colour (if applicable).
9.
Enter the size with the button for size (if applicable).
10.
Set the required delay with the timer button. Skip this step if the baking is to start
immediately.
11.
Press the power switch to start. The colon character starts flashing and the letter for actual
step is shown.
After finishing a program
NOTE:
• 10 audio prompts are given when the baking process is finished for programs with the warming
function. The warming then starts and continues for one hour. The warming can be cancelled
with the power switch.
• 1 long audio prompt is given for programs without warming.
• Bread that is not immediately consumed should be stored in a tight plastic bag, or the
equivalent. Bread can be stored for about 3 days at room temperature, and up to 10 days in
a refrigerator.
