Note: The switch does not provide a visual means that indicates the port speed configuration
(SDR, DDR, or QDR) and/or the link width (1X or 4X). The speed and link width configura-
tions can be retrieved using FabricIT management software.

2.2.3 Spine Board LED Indicators
Each spine has two status LEDs for the spine and 72 status LEDs for the leaf boards. Each leaf
board is connected by two links to each spine module. These are displayed on the spine as link A
and link B.
The two status LEDs for the spine have the configuration shown in Figure 7. The LEDs indicate as
follows:

LED Description
Physical Link - Green
Constant on indicates a good physical link
Blinking indicates a problem with the Physical link
Off indicates No Physical link. Cable may be unseated or unconnected
Data Activity - Yellow
Blinking indicates Data Transfer
Blinking rate is proportional to traffic rate
Constant on indicates no Data Transfer
Port number
This LED should be off.
This LED should be on.
The yellow connector
LEDs should be blinking.
The green connector
LEDs should be on.
